Dog Coats and CatJackets

Sammy tries out a CatJacket, which gives him a snazzy look that contrasts with his elegant orange fur. The jacket also  provides a harness ready for a safe way to go for a walk with his humans. Made of washable cotton with colorful cat and dog designs, it has sturdy hook-and-loop closures around the neck and tummy, reinforcing strapping down the spin and a leash loop on the back to complete the practical but fun look.  See below for measuring for custom dog coats and CatJackets.

Blankets and Pillows

We've combined a rich-hued, solid-colored fleece with arty fleece depictions of graceful cats to make throws and pillows for your favorite humans and felines. That's just one of the many options to get ready to snuggle or read with your BFF (best feline friend)!

Measuring for dog coats

There are five (5) measurements needed for a coat customized for your dog.

1. The neck or collar, measured in inches, is where the neck and shoulder meet. It is shown as the red line on the illustration.

2. The girth is measured at the widest point around the dog's chest behind the front legs. This is shown as the blue line.

3. The spine is measured from the neck or collar line down the dog's back/spine to the base of the tail. Just follow the green line.

4. The chest width is measured across the front of the dog from shoulder blade to shoulder blade. The purple line represents this measurement.

5. Note the dog's weight, in pounds.

Measuring for Catjackets

Like the process for the custom dog coat, you'll need to measure yourcat  for a good fit on the CatJacket for your furry feline.

Some tips that apply to measuring all animals, but especially cats:

- Don't interrupt a nap to start measuring.

- Use a quiet tape measure -- the ones that zip noisily back into their cases can be annoying to our feline buddies.

- Have a helper.

- Measure twice or even three times to be sure of your data.

1. The neck or collar line is measured where the neck and shoulder meet. This is the red line on the illustration.

2. The girth is measured at the widest point around the cat's chest behind the front legs. it is represented by the blue line.

3. The spine, but only half way to the base of the tail. Measure from the neck or where the collar would be if the cat wears one to a point behind the front legs, about midway down the ribcage. This is shown as the  green line.

4. The cat's weight, in pounds.
